Welcome to the Plano East Senior High Band. The Plano East Band consists of four concert bands (The Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band & Varsity Band), the Marching Panthers and a Jazz Ensemble. The bands are led by Evelio Villarreal, Director of Bands, John Brennan, Associate Director of Bands and Lee Redfearn III, Associate Director of Bands. Under the guidance of the directors, the band has become one of the most decorated bands in Texas and has firmly established a "Tradition of Excellence".

East Side March-A-Thon
Saturday, September 13 at 8am
This is an amazing event with all East Side bands represented. 90% of all pledges and donations go directly to your student’s account benefiting your student’s activity and spring trip fees.
10% of all funds collected from every school for this event will be donated to Heroes for Children. Heroes for Children advocates for and provides financial and social assistance to families with children (0-22 years of age) battling cancer. Over the years, we have had several band students in the East Cluster diagnosed with cancer.
Hanna Waters currently plays the French Horn/Mellophone in the Plano East Senior High Band. As a seventh grader she was diagnosed with cancer and began a series of treatments which caused her to miss much of the school year. Hanna has since gone into remission and came to Plano East as a sophomore in the IB program last year where she earned a marching spot in the show. This year, she is on the East Band Stu-dent Leadership Team and is doing great. Last spring we lost band student, Ben Fullerton, who graduated in 2013 to cancer. It is our hope to help other children and their families with our donations.
There will be refreshments and food trucks on site. All proceeds from the sales will be shared equally by the Plano East, Williams and McMillan Band Boosters.

Senior Recognition Night

Before the game
Prior to the game, the Class of 2015 Seniors from the Plano East Band and their parents will be recognized. Parents must have a football ticket and should arrive at the stadium by 6pm. Students will be escorted down the field by their parents and a photo will be taken on the 50 yard line.
Photos may be purchased by the forms that will be provided in September or on the PESH website.
Volunteers are needed to help make this event memorable for our graduating Seniors and parents. Only Freshman through Junior parents may volunteer.
